Susan Boyle

If you’re looking for an inspirational singer then, Susan Boyle is the perfect choice. She was born in Blackburn, West Lothian Scotland to a father who is a miner and a mother who is a typist. She was the youngest from a family of 10. She was diagnosed to have learning difficulties and because of that she was always bullied in her childhood. While growing up she had joined choir groups in churches where her first singing voice was enjoyed by her countrymen not knowing that one day, the world will have that very chance of hearing her sing. She never got married; instead she just decided to take care of her mother until she died.

Then on that day, on the third installment of Britain’s Got Talent in August 2008, Susan Boyle auditioned and her career has started. Even though she wasn’t able to get the spot she made a name in the entertainment world because of her amazing voice and personality that captivated the hearts of many. Her performances always struck the hearts of many and caused millions of people to view it on YouTube. Susan Boyle was put to test when the final season of the batch came and she was not proclaimed the winner. She wasn’t able to control herself at that time where she was frantically not herself which was the reason why she was put to The Priory, a private psychiatry clinic in London, the day after the finals so she will be given proper medical help. After five days of stay, she left the clinic and join the BGT tour. While on tour she exuded great confidence despite of the fact that she had been hospitalized.

Susan Boyle Perfect Day video

I Dreamed a Dream was her very first album and became Amazon’s best-selling album in pre-sales of the 4th of September, 2009. This album was truly a success. After the success of her first album, another album was opened to the public and this was entitled The Gift, which was a Christmas album, and her latest album which is Someone to Watch over Me was released recently and the songs where actually written by Susan Boyle, herself with the help of Emeli Sande.

Susan Boyle has enlightened and inspired the lives of many through her humble beginning. And until now, she continues to inspire people through her singing and will continue to make a name in the Entertainment world because of what her voice can do to the world.
